Was very pleasantly surprised by this show. A beautifully told story with a very talented cast. Gorgeous music throughout.

What they didn't enjoy

Did not enjoy this. The incredibly repetitive sea shanty music, setting it in 20th Century Cornwall over the course of 70 years but it felt like Victorian England with no progression through time apart from relentless boring narration. What happened to Jazz Age Louisiana like the original story? That would have been amazing to portray, but it’s just folksy fiddles and guitars that never go anywhere. Wanted to leave.
